Why random thoughts??

A little about me — I’ve been practicing elder law for 23 (yikes!) years, am a total tech geek and must always try the newest, flashiest stuff out there. I write, I craft, I love finding fun new things. Every now and then I run across something that I think is worth sharing or writing about. Not always enough for a full article — not on the same topic enough for a blog, just whatever pops into my head.

I’m not a podcaster or a blogger. Those take organization, planning and consistency. I’m a random ideas kind of person. Actually, I’m just a pretty random person. Let’s face it. The practice of law is stressful. The practice of elder law may be more stressful than most, simply because you’re dealing with people who are going through the most stressful things.

When I was 28, I was diagnosed with attention deficit disorder. As the medical community has learned more and I have learned more, I’ve come to understand myself, my patterns and my behaviors. My goal is to harness and make the best of my oddities. Control the negative without suppressing the positive!

I’ve also been locked in a 20 year battle with my weight. We’ve been up and down, tried every program including medically supervised ones, and just cant get it together. I have just over 2 years until I turn 50. Here’s hoping I can make some sense out of my life before then.
